The remote desktop utility in Ubuntu made it incredibly easy to take control of a Windows PC, but doing it the other way around was not so simple. Installing TightVNC in XP Home allows me to remote onto the Laptop and control it from Windows, but as the laptop has a 16:9 screen, it's impossible to fit everything on at once. Also, the connection speed is infuriatingly slow. I don't know why that is, and there are no speed issues when using it the other way round.
