Bel Tor - Tuesday, Mar 18, 2008
|ACCESS RESTRICTED: Bel Tor is harder to reach than it would first seem. You can see it from the car park, but you have to skirt round some private fields in order to get to it. According to the Dartmoor Preservation Association, access to this tor is denied. However, a few of the gates around here are conspicuously lacking the word "PRIVATE" which is prominently painted on the others. I took that to mean that the land owner wished access to be gained via one route only.|
