Cox Tor
Near Tavistock Taken By Dave Bellamy
Cox Tor
View from the top of Cox Tor towards Tavistock (the town where I was born) in the centre of the photo (3.3 miles away). Behind Tavistock, the hill is Kit Hill (just over 10 miles away) overlooking Callington. Behind Kit Hill, and slightly to the right, is Caradon Hill (16 miles away), which has a similar transmitter to that of North Hessary tor, 3 miles behind me. This continues the line of transmitters through the South West, from Wells to Stockland Hill, North Hessary Tor, Caradon Hill and Redruth. Each of them is within sight of it's adjacent partner at some point up the mast, although North Hessary Tor and Caradon Hill can be seen at either's base.
